Working in Life To Achieve A Balance
Work Life Balance
Why do we work?
We work for a living, for security, for social status, for self esteem or maybe for all of them.
Life without work cannot be there. Life without work is worthless. Come morning and everyone gets up to join the rat race. Some just want to kill time to keep boredom at bay, some work for importance, some work for reasons not even known to them.
Why do I work?
I work for reasons not even known to me. Partly money, partly importance, partly social life.
Working to earn a living is not desired, everyone should be at the liberty to pursue whatever their heart desires. If we are passionate about what we do, even better.

Love and emotion baby, love and emotion, you are the sunshine of my life.
The death of a person, is hard to handle, that of your dog is even more. Life has gone into a vacuum ever since my dog has died. It's never easy to handle death, let alone that of a near and dear one. But as they say life goes on, and it does. How much life is there in your life depends on you. Life can be lifeless or lifeful (new word). People come people go. Too much attachment to anything is not desirable. From that logic too much attachment to yourself is also not desirable. People say love yourself more than anyone else. But that borders on selfishness and narcissism. Agreed man is a selfish being, its always I before you. But sometimes this you becomes more important than I. When does this happen? Even I don't have an answer for it,or maybe I do, but don't want to acknowledge it. Acknowledging love for anyone is difficult, maybe more difficult than anything in the world. So start with family (hope it isn't too difficult with them). Love by parents is greater than love for yourself (I believe). Even when you are not there for yourself, your family is. Do perfect families exist? they do, taking a cue from mine (touch wood). So go ahead, love them to pieces and drown them in the chocolate syrup of love.

love
Love for friends, love for my dog, love for the person on the street. Why is it that you feel this unexplainable feeling for some people and they become a part of your life, even without their not knowing. Is human love the highest form of love? Narcissus and echo had different kinds of love. Both died in the end for, you guessed it right love. What about self love? I love myself. No one is a Buddha, at best you are a bodhisattva. It is important to love your self first because only then you can love other people. People question my love for humans, I question their love for themselves. At the end of the day love is a chemical in your brain an overdose of it just drives you insane.

The other day someone commented, life can be slightly difficult, to which my reply was a big NO. Later I kept feeling guilty about it. Because life can truly become difficult sometimes not only for us but we can make it difficult for other people as well. So when we make it difficult for others unintentionally, should we actually feel guilty about it. Is it forgiven, how long does it take to forgive yourself and how long does should the other person take to forgive you. Forgiveness is a virtue akin to patience according to my view. Is forgiveness from parents taken as granted. Life tests you at every step, checking your forgiveness ability. Wish there was a pill for forgiveness too. Just take the pill and destroy the illness. at least get rid of the symptoms.

Another day.....
Dear all,
Today is another day and we have taken a lot of pain to get up from our respective beds. The pain continues depends on us, whether we flush it down the toilet or decide to carry it in our hearts. If we carry it in our hearts slowly and insidiously it will make a hole there, if we flush it down the toilet, we will have to return to it again. So what needs to be done is when you get up get up with a lot of verve and energy and thank God for the brand new wonderful day. The day awaits you with open arms, with a big smile and the wishes of your loved ones. Have the breakfast of love and go where ever you have to zip zap zoom.

Akshardhaam Temple
This sunday I visited the Akshardhaam temple with mom and dad. The experience was quite enriching in its own right.
We left at 3 pm and were amazed to see the enormous crowd of people, for one moment we contemplated going back.
Anyhow after parking the car we moved toward the entry. From there on we were subjected to various forms of security check. When all the security checks were over, we proceeded to see the spectacular temple whose view, for a passerby was breathtaking (and I had passed from there quite often, but never had a chance to see it from inside).
The temple is divided into 3 parts, the main temple and the 2 temples on the side. From there on we proceeded to see the main temple, whose carving was done in marble and red stone, the ceilings the walls, everything about the temple was spectacular, after which we proceeded to see the temple to the right. Then we proceeded to see a movie on swaminarayan and his life .
In between, we saw the spectacular musical fountains dancing to the tune of music along with some snacks. From there on we took a boat ride, which showed the evolution of mankind across ages, and those people whose contribution to what we have become.
Soon it was time to go home and we left with an experience never forget but cherish forever.
